Stephanie has, arguably, the most important job…running the company’s accounting and finances.

But if anyone is up to the task, it’s Stephanie. A licensed public accountant (CPA), Stephanie spent six years with CBIZ / Mayer Hoffman McCann PC where she honed her skills and knowledge of public accounting so that she could handle the heavy lifting in the real estate business. Prior to Seneca, Stephanie was CFO for the company’s predecessor, Preferred Development, where she was principally responsible for all facets of accounting and financial reporting relating to the company’s portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties.

At Seneca Real Estate Group, Stephanie directs the firm’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures. She manages a team of degreed accountants, administers, maintains, and oversees financial records and reporting for the company’s real estate portfolio of over 150 properties owned and managed by Seneca. This includes preparing monthly financials statements, annual budgets and C/T/I reconciliations for all owned and managed properties. In addition, Stephanie works directly with independent CPAs providing all financial documents, supporting schedules, and explanations necessary for proper reporting and filing of annual federal and state tax returns. Stephanie also works closely with lenders, attorneys, title companies and property owners in closings for property acquisitions, sales and refinancing. An Iowa native, Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Iowa State University. She lives in Tinley Park, Illinois, with her husband, daughter Mia and son Talon.
